I'm Samantha Martin-Beagle. After working as a teacher in mainstream education for 7 years and working closely with children with special needs as a SENCo, I realised how the current mainstream education system does not meet the personal, social and educational needs of all families. I’ve spent the last year working with home educated, unschooled and world schooled families around the world from Guatemala to New Zealand and Bali. I have seen some of the difficulties they have faced, from having confidence in their own style of education to creating reports to justifying their lifestyle to local authorities in the UK.
